The good news: PetSafe is a big name in pet products, and its smart feeders keep to their feeding schedule even if the app or Wi-Fi goes down.
The bad news: App control and alerts still depend on PetSafe’s cloud.
If you own PetSafe
- Set the feeding schedule on the device and test that it feeds without Wi-Fi.
- Keep extra food out if you travel, in case anything goes wrong.
