The good news: Rheem is a big appliance maker, and your water heater or HVAC keeps working without the app.
The bad news: Remote control, schedules and alerts need the EcoNet cloud.
If you own Rheem EcoNet
- Know how to set your water heater or thermostat by hand.
- Keep the EcoNet module online so you get leak and error alerts.
