The good news: Eve devices don’t depend on any Eve server, so there is nothing for the company to switch off. Its owner, ABB, is one of the world’s biggest electrical companies.
The bad news: Some advanced features, like detailed history, work best in Eve’s own app, which is mainly built for Apple users.
If you own Eve
- Use Eve devices with any Matter system, like Apple Home, Google Home or Home Assistant.
- Keep firmware updated through the Eve app, since Matter improvements arrive that way.
