The June Oven was a countertop oven with a camera that could recognize food and pick a cooking program. Weber bought June in 2021, and on September 22, 2026, it shut down the June app and cloud.

What happened

Weber told owners on July 22, 2026, that June’s app and cloud services would end on September 22, 2026. The oven itself was not disabled.

Along with the app, the camera-based food recognition went away, and Weber also ended official support, repairs and replacement parts.

What still works

  • Cooking with the touchscreen on the oven, as long as it got the last software update before the shutdown.
  • It still heats like a normal countertop oven.

If you still own a June Oven

  1. Cook with the controls on the oven and set your own times and temperatures.
  2. Do not factory reset it, since it can no longer download software.
  3. Since repairs and spare parts have ended, plan for a replacement when it breaks.

The lesson

The June Oven’s best feature lived in the cloud. When the cloud went, so did the reason many people bought it.
